I live near Asbury Park and drive past likely 20 veterinarians to bring by pets to Dr. Drozd for a reason. She is the best, smartest, most experienced, engaged, and trustworthy physician. She is fluent in the most contemporary treatments - holistic and traditional. I would trust her with my own life. I cant recommend HVS more emphatically.
Vets are ok..but ppl in front window not professional at all will talk about paying customers as soon as u turn your back it's a shame..and u buy flea medicine for your pets then they charge u $5..just to squeeze a tube..
Took my dog there on a Friday night for a second opinion, was told our dog had pneumonia Dr Drozd said absolutely didn’t have pneumonia, showed her previous X-rays that were taken, asked her to take another X-ray said it wasn’t necessary he didn’t have pneumonia. Said he had extra skin in his throat and prescribed a broncodiatayer to open airway but never had a breathing problem. Side effect is increased heart rate which pumped fluids into his lungs. He died less then 16 hours after seeing her. Called the next morning first thing to tell them what happened was told see would call me back took 3 days to finally call and when she did she never looked at the records or X-rays taken at the emergency hospital the night before. I had the hospital send them the night he passed. She is the worst, for someone who has practiced for 32 years and has a huge ego she should have known the possible side affects. I have gotten opinions from U of Penn Veterinary school, Cornell Veterinary school and at least 3 other hospitals who have all told me the same thing. Be very careful if your pet is sick. We are devastated from this he was a service dog and didn’t deserve this. When I asked for his records she appeared to have blamed my wife and I for his death which is crazy. He was our baby and child. I have had months to research this. Unfortunately the law looks at dogs a property with no value other than what you paid for it, this law must be changed. Would not recommend them to anyone!
The best with your pets. 5 stars ain't enough.
Is always a pleasure to bring one of our 3 pooches there.
