My wife was harrassed and threatened in a patking lot at planet fitness in hazlet. But because she felt threatened and scared , she drove to Middletown police dept. There she was told that they wouldnt take a description and or a statement because it happened in hazlet. They had no compassion and or concern for the matter.. We pay 10k in taxes a year and to be pushed away from our own police dept was so very disappointing and scary.
Middletown is rated as one of the safest towns in America, you can thank our police force for that!
One of the best and well run police departments. They are fair and very professional. I remember my mother and i had been getting harassed by our landlords associates, the landlord lived abroad. We were a little behind on our rent and at some point Her friends would come by the apartment many times as if to try and intimidate us with notes and saying that we had to leave the apartment and coming in unannounced when we were not there. one morning it went to far. her associates came to the apartment and started changing the locks unlawfully. At that point we had to call the Police and report this harassment. Sargent Mcnair i think his name was, came out and spoke to both parties and got both our stories we explained the harassment that was going on and how we felt very unsafe. At that point two female officers came and told us that we have rights and we can get protection. I also found out that unless a sheriff officer comes and gives you an eviction notice the apartment is still our home and we have the right to be there. So after all that they set those idiots straight and took care of the matter. No problems after that. Thank you Middletown police for all your help and to the officers that responded.
I'm the store manager of gamestop, and they always have helped us during midnight releases, or when we have rowdy guests. We are very grateful of their service to our town and thank them immensely for the safety of its residents. Thank you, Middletown Police!
One of the state's best well-run, well trained, well led, caring police departments of it's size. From the lowest ranking member to the top, effective, caring and reasonable professionals. Perfection is not a reality possible in our world. Our police have to deal with many of the world's imperfections. What is important is this police department demonstrates process, a capable chain of command and a resolute focus to perform well. I am thankful and I hope you are too!
