Guardian park has great views of the Sandy Hook Bay. It is located in the Officer's Row section of Sandy Hook. Brought sandwiches and had a picnic lunch at one of their outdoor tables.
Very nice beach, free after 5pm. It used to be a military base.
Very serene, patriotic feel. Draws a diverse crowd.. picnic tables, volley ball net. Get there early for a table though!
Or won't get with the program. They visit on weekends from the ghetto, and trash our beautiful place. Volunteers clean up after them, but after Labor Day the beaches are left looking like a dump.
