Lots of garbage in the water, on the beach, and in the parking lot. The concept of "carry in carry out" seems lost on many visitors.
I go to the bay side. The side allows dogs all year. A lot less crowded. More thing to watch, kayaking rafting sailing power sailing it all goes on on that side. Give it a whirl and have a great day !
I spend more time here in the off season. Its across from plum island. Ample parking.
Beautiful bayside cove that has paddle board and kayak rentals. Nice bay views of Highlands and nautical traffic. Some trash issues because of people being stupid. This is not the 3rd world, take your trash home!!!
Beach was kinda dirty, no garbage cans so people left garbage in bathrooms
