I only go in this store for the Land's end clothes--otherwise it is a sinking ship. Poor service except for a few...
It was 5:50 and they close at 6pm. I needed a battery and I was out in 15 minutes. They were great.
Still a nice selection of goods...no lines!
Haven't been to Sears in some time. I was pleasantly surprised. I saw so many things that I liked. Both for work and play. For my kids and for my husband. The sales were really great. A watch I saw in Sears and Kohl's was significantly lower priced at Sears. The cashiers were very nice. The woman in hardware this afternoon knew her department very well and took the time to help me. I will be a repeat customer from now on. Thanks for a good experience.
I give it two stars for the poor souls who are doomed to work here until it eventually, inevitably closes ... but the place is a GHOST TOWN, and the empty parking lot is depressing customer "repellent" to potential shoppers. The Sears Auto Center, doomed to occupy the same parking lot as the main department store, is a good place for replacement car tires or a car battery, but I wonder if I would depend on a place that seems so devoid of customer traffic to do much more work on my car than that.
